Define the selling unit
Write quantities as pairs when that is what your shop needs, and ask for confirmation in the quotation. Check whether backings are included and whether the pair uses matching sizes and finishes.
For mixed assortments, keep one line per design and option. A total of fifty without a unit or style breakdown is not a complete purchasing instruction.
Measure the visible face
Request the face width and height in millimetres, not only an enlarged photograph. Compare the measurement with the display space and wearing style your customers expect.
When offering two sizes, label each clearly in your own catalogue. Close-up product photographs can make small studs appear much larger than they are.
Separate post, body and finish
The pictured listing identifies silver posts. Confirm the body material and surface finish separately, and request the backing type and dimensions if they are important to your range.
Do not turn a material statement into an unsupported allergy claim. If your market or customer requires a particular test, specify that requirement and obtain the relevant evidence.
Approve a pack-out example
Ask for the pair, backings and intended packaging to be shown together. Check how the supplier labels the design and option so your receiving team can distinguish similar pieces.
