Lab-Grown Diamond Wholesale: What to Put on Your Spec Sheet
Prepare a lab-grown diamond jewelry enquiry with stone identity, centre and total weight, metal, size and report requirements stated separately.
Updated 2026-11-03 · AODHY WholesaleWrite the stone identity before the design
Use “lab-grown diamond” in the purchasing line, followed by the product reference and option. Do not use “lab-grown” alone where it could be confused with a different laboratory-created gemstone.
If the catalogue offers several stone choices in one design, ask for a quotation that spells out the one you want. The cover illustrates a listed design, not a grading report for a particular stone.
Separate centre weight from total weight
For a ring or pendant with several stones, state whether your requested carat weight refers to the centre stone or the total across the piece. Include the shape and any colour, clarity or other characteristics that matter to the order.
For a bracelet or matching set, ask how the stone sizes and quantities are described. Avoid comparing two quotations that use different weight definitions.
Request documentation before committing
If an individual report is required, state that requirement with the enquiry. Ask for issuer, report number and the details that connect it to the offered stone. Check the report through its issuer where available.
GIA provides Report Check for comparing report information with its database. This reference explains a verification route; it does not mean that every AODHY item has a GIA report.
Finish with the metal, fit and destination
State the metal, finish, ring size or chain dimensions, quantity, destination and requested date. Ask which requirements can be met and have the agreed specification recorded in the formal quotation.
If your requirements change after reviewing a sample or report, request a revised quotation rather than assuming the previous price covers the new specification.
