Know your stone. Know your setting.

Beautiful jewelry starts with a clear choice. Stone type, metal and finish are separate specifications. Some designs offer both moissanite and lab-grown diamond options: the variant you select determines what you order.

Lab-grown diamond

Diamond, grown in a laboratory.

It has essentially the same chemical composition and crystal structure as natural diamond; its origin is different. A laboratory can identify growth-related features. Choose this option when the selected variant explicitly says lab-grown diamond.

Moissanite

A distinct gemstone made of silicon carbide.

Moissanite is not diamond. It offers a bright, sparkling appearance, but has different optical and physical properties. A laboratory-created moissanite is still moissanite, not a lab-grown diamond.

Cubic zirconia (CZ)

A manufactured stone made of zirconium dioxide.

CZ is an alternative gemstone with its own composition and properties. It is neither diamond nor moissanite. The words iced-out or sparkling describe a look, not a stone specification.

What should I compare in a lab-grown diamond?

Compare carat weight, color, clarity and cut information for the exact stone. Carat measures weight, not diameter; check the listed dimensions as well. Confirm whether a stated weight is for the center stone or all stones together.

Color, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry and fluorescence can vary. A general materials guide does not establish a grade for a particular item. We only present a specific grade or report as included when it is identified for that product or confirmed in your quotation.

925 silver, gold and plated finishes

925 sterling silver denotes an alloy containing 92.5% silver. Gold karat describes the gold proportion of an alloy: 9K, 10K, 14K and 18K are different compositions. A gold-plated finish is a surface layer over another material; it does not mean the entire piece is gold.

Read the selected option for the base metal and finish. Gold color alone does not identify composition, and a stone choice does not determine the metal used in its setting.

Supplier documents and individual stone reports

Supplier qualifications describe a business, its systems or an assessed activity. An individual gem report identifies a specific stone. These documents serve different purposes; a supplier certificate is not a diamond grading report for every item.

Before ordering, ask whether your selected item includes a report, who issued it, and whether its number and stone details can be checked with the issuer. For wholesale, include the product code and documentation requirements in your enquiry so they can be confirmed in the formal quotation.

Care and support after your purchase

Follow the care advice for both the stone and the setting. Avoid impacts, abrasive cleaners and contact with harsh chemicals; store pieces separately to reduce scratching. Ask for care advice if your piece combines different materials.

Our moissanite warranty applies only to the items and conditions stated in that policy. It does not automatically extend to lab-grown diamond or CZ variants. If an item differs from its description, contact us with the order number and clear photos for review.
